Bought this rug to use with our pop-up camper, after seeing many campers using something very similar (different pattern and maybe company). We found these rugs really hard to find in stores as they are snatched up quite quick. Water just goes through the weaves of the rug thus it stays dry, and dirt falls through as well for the most part. Perfect for keeping your shoes on while you enter your camper barefoot, and there is no drying time involved and just a quick sweep is needed before packing it away, which involves a few folds, plus it doesn't take up much room in our camper (fits under one booth seat with room to spare). My parents ended up getting two for their camper soon after us! We couldn't do without and highly recommend!
We also use it as a play mat for my little one when he plays outside. I haven't let it stay in the grass to see if it kills it or not, but I hear the grass doesn't die.
